How to Change Stitch Angles

How to Change Stitch Angles ··· Length 6 min. 16 sec. ··· beginner

Here is a quick tip If you want to add some depth and interest to your embroidery, try changing the stitch angles! It’s quick and easy to do, and the end result looks great! Instead of having a boring, basic plain shape (a leaf for example) you can add some depth to the leaf by doing one half and then cloning it, and changing the angles on each side – it gives the leaf shape more depth and definition and shape – it looks more like a real leaf with details. Experiment with your tatami stitches and satin stitches and change the stitch angles and see what results you get, it’s all easy to do inside Hatch!
